ZaC's 2nd mOntH miLeStOneS

Zac is slowly discovering the new world around him. Here's summary of the developments in his 2nd month:

1) Relaxed and open fists

Zac had clenched fists since he was a newborn. 2 weeks ago, his fingers started to relax and he can grab his hankie, tiny beanie and his clothes (all the soft fabric items) and place them in his mouth.

His favourite move is to lift his top like Rain. keke....


2) Playing with tongue and saliva

Zac loves sticking his naughty tongue in and out of his mouth, pushing saliva out. He also blows bubbles of saliva until he gets hiccups.

3) Lying on tummy & lifting head high

Zac's neck is really strong and he can lift his head while lying on his tummy. He looks like he's skydiving when he lifts his feet up.

4) Laughing out loud

Zac loves it when we swing his arms or play games with him while talking to in a high-pitched animated voice. He'll respond with little cute chuckles!

A spEciaL hAndmAde MomEntO

Mummy finally found time to put together the picture frame which holds Zac's little palm print and footprint. The moulds were created when Zac was 2 weeks old. It's a special keepsake of baby Zac.


It was quite difficult as Zac wouldn't keep still and Mummy had to try several times before achieving the perfect moulds. Zac's tiny fingers and toes kept curling up into the soft clay.

Mummy also made a door sign to hang outside Zac's room. Zac is born in the year of the Rat, so Mummy made a cute little rat for him.

sLeEpiNg CuTiE

Zac has been spending his days sleeping, drinking milk and playing. Most of his time is spent sleeping, day and night. His sleeping positions in the afternoon are varied and changes as he grows. He looks so adorable in each position!

TwO LaDieS & a bAby

Zac is a lucky baby, showered with LOVE from Mummy and Yee Yee.


Next, Zac tried communicating with Yee Yee. However, she is at a lost as she doesn't understand his baby talk. Try harder next time, Yee Yee!

i LoVe yOu tO piEceS

hAppy sLiNginG!

Last weekend, Mummy brought Zac out in the baby sling for the first time. Zac was so comfortable lying in Mummy's chest that he fell asleep throughout the outing! Mummy has been practising carrying Zac in the baby sling at home after his feeds. Zac only feels comfotable in one position - slightly upright with his two cute feet outside the sling.

baBy TaLk

Zac has a musical mobile hanging above his cot. He loves staring at it especially when it lights up at night. At 4 weeks old, he started noticing the 4 colourful characters (Bumble Bee, Froggy, Butterfly & Snail). He was intrigued by them dancing in a circle above him. At 7 weeks old, he started "talking" to them. They were the first ones whom he communicated with (not even Daddy or Mummy)! Listen to him 'baby talking' to them.
