ZaC @ 14 mOntHs

ZaC is a little vain pot! Auntie Pauline bought this cap from HK Disneyland for ZaC. Remember ZaC does not like things being placed on his head and will always pull them off? Well, this time he actually walked to the mirror and admired himself with the cap. He even gamely posed for pictures with it!

sAy cHeEsE!

It is difficult to film or take pictures of ZaC now cos he will dash towards the camera when he spots someone aiming it towards him. Two weekends ago, he did something out of ordinary! While having dinner, Daddy decided to take some pictures of ZaC. He aimed it towards ZaC and asked him to smile. ZaC squirted his eyes and gave a smile. He continued to do it everytime he spotted the tiny red light that appears on the camera before Daddy pushes to button to take a shot.

yOu coLoUr My wOrLd

ZaC is learning and expanding his vocabulary. At home and outdoors, Mummy and Daddy will always point out things to him and name them. He will point them out when he hears their name. New addition to ZaC's vocabulary are clock, fan, TV, fish, book, ball, bear and shoes. He also recognises the titles of his storybook collection which Mummy reads to him.
ZaC's first spoken word is BALL! Daddy loves to browse sports shops and 2 weekends ago, ZaC recognised the balls. He pointed at them and said "BALL!". Last weekend, ZaC made Daddy really happy. Daddy was not feeling well and was resting on the bed. Mummy carried ZaC into the room and stood by the bedside. ZaC called out "Daddy." Both Daddy and Mummy had a pleasant surprise as ZaC's pronounciation was accurate. This brought a huge smile to Daddy's face.

LitTLe rAsCaL @ wOrK aGaiN!

ZaC picks up new things really fast and it's always the things which we do not wish him to learn. E.g how to open the doors to the bomb shelter and shoe cabinet. They were designed in a concealed manner so that people wouldn't know there are storage spaces behind the doors. ZaC saw how we opened the doors (by pulling out a vertical strip of wood) and decided to try his luck too. He wanted to take his shoes which he knows are stored in the shoe cabinet. When he succeeded, he was delighted and took every chance to open them. He sure knows how to keep us busy!
