Recently, ZaC is more willingly to pose for the camera. In the past, he would run away whenever we try to take pictures of him. Now, he is ever ready with his signature smile & peace sign!

ZaC was sleeping on his knees again one afternoon & Mummy took a snapshot of him. When he was a newborn, ZaC loved sleeping in that same position. Look how much our baby has grown!

HaLLoWeEn pArTy

ZaC got to attend a Halloween party in school! Coincidentally, Mummy just read him a book titled "Fright Night" which featured a haunted house, mummies, vampires, witches, ghosts, werewolves, etc. ZaC was very curious about them. Luckily, all the characters are friendly ones! ZaC wanted to go to school dressed up as a fireman but it didn't fit the theme. In the end, ZaC wore his old Gap PJs which has skeletons on them. His friend came as a Transformer robot and his teacher was dressed up as a witch! Cool!

Mummy has been preparing breakast for ZaC using the Doraemon & vehicles bread cutter she bought online. The main idea is to get ZaC to eat bread on a regular basis as we wouldn't know if he eats bread in school. The bread filling will either be kaya or cheese, both of which ZaC loves. When Mummy spotted a recipe to make bread sushi in a magazine, she tried it as ZaC loves seaweed. It was also a hit with him!

ZaC loves playing at the Marina Square playground. Initially, he needed an adult to stand at the bottom of the pole to grab him on the way down. Now, he is daring enough to come down like a firefighter!

The last time ZaC visited the zoo with Daddy & Mummy was when he was only 6 months old. Early this year, his school brought him. On the Teacher's Day school holiday, we all went with Godpa's family. The kids had lots of fun riding the tram around the zoo. The two animal shows were also exciting! ZaC got to feed the goats, after some coaxing and encouragement. He got to see the animals live instead of reading about them in books.

A dAy wiTh mUmMy

Mummy has not been spending much time with ZaC after Zeyes was born. Last week, ZaC's school was closed for teachers' training. Mummy took the opportunity to bond with ZaC. Mummy made a Doraemon bread as a surprise for his breakfast. ZaC gobbled the bread up in no time! Next is a ride to the nearby field to look for mimosa and run around. After a good workout, mother & son massaged our feet on the pebble path at the playground. The next destination is the library to read & borrow books. ZaC had his favourite udon noodles at the foodcourt for lunch before heading home to take his nap! Mummy hopes we can have more "Mother & Son Day" in the future!

Since Mummy is pregnant with Zeyes, ZaC has been hanging out with Daddy a lot. At his age, boys start seeing their Daddy as his role model. As a toddler, ZaC loves sitting on Daddy's shoulders. He gets a bird's eye view up there! He is slowly changing from being a "Mummy's boy" to a "Daddy's boy"!

Last month, ZaC & Daddy went on a school outing to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden together. Both of them sat on a bus there, with friends and teachers. ZaC had great fun exploring the place with his friends. Term 2's theme is about plants, so they picked flowers, fruits, leaves and branches along the way. There was even a snack pack for everyone. The kids ended the trip playing at the waterplay area within the garden.

ZaC mastered pedalling the bicycle recently. It took several tries since he got the bicycle as his birthday present in February. Now, he can control his speed & maneuver his way around. Daddy & Mummy are proud of his effort!

ZaC got to wear his first raincoat when there was a small drizzle. Daddy walked home with him from school. ZaC was really excited at first but later found it was really hot wearing the raincoat.

bRotHeRLy L.O.V.E

ZaC absolutely adores his younger brother. He talks to him in a high-pitched voice & shows him all his toys. When he reaches home, the first thing he does is to take a look at Zeyes. He gets excited when Zeyes coos or makes noises at him - he thinks Zeyes is talking to him! Daddy & Mummy hope both of them will grow up to be best buddies!

ZaC had lots of fun @ Marina Barrage. It was his first time at the water park. Initially, he was afraid of getting his hair wet but after coaxing from his cousins, he ran under the water fountain and even laid down in the water!

This green scooter is a pass-me-down from ZaC's grandaunt. Mummy received it when he was still a baby. It was kept in grandpa's store room all these years. Finally, ZaC got to enjoy this toy! He had lots of fun riding it. He is pretty good at maneuvering it, which was a surprise!
