Whenever ZaC goes out with Daddy & Mummy, his eyes will be busy looking at bright signboards and lights. His mouth will be busy licking, biting and sucking a teether. However, he always prefers the chain attached to the teether (which prevents it from dropping onto the floor). In the end, the chain and his bib will be covered with his drool. So, maybe next time Daddy & Mummy should get more chains (as they are cheaper)!

ZaC learnt a new trick on his own this week! 姑姑was carrying him and patting him to sleep when she realised his pacifier was missing from his mouth. She searched for it, thinking he dropped it. But guess where it was....it was inside his mouth! That cheeky boy can actually conceal the whole pacifier inside his tiny (or so we thought) mouth. Watch the video to see how he performs the "Now you see it, now you don't" trick!

Two weeks ago, ZaC used his swimming float for the first time and loved it! He can't stop kicking and splashing in the water. He'll surely spend many more happy hours playing with it. But he gotta wait till he recovers from his flu and cough.

ZaC is teething....

These past few days, ZaC is fond of placing stuff into his mouth and rubbing them hard against his gums. Then we discovered a hole in his gums which is where his first tooth will appear. We are all really excited about it, awaiting the arrival of his first tooth!

ZaC spends quality time with Daddy when he returns home from work everyday. This gives Mummy time to have dinner. Daddy loves to place ZaC on his tummy and makes funny noises to amuse him. Sometimes they will be engaged in some rough play too.

When Daddy is at work, ZaC loves to hear his voice over the loudspeaker. His face will light up when he hears the ringing tone.

ZaC has learnt many tricks under Daddy's patient guidance:
1) When you say "kok, kok" and bring your head close to his, he will knock your head lightly with his.

2) When you lift up your palm and say "hi-five", ZaC will bring his palm and light tap on it.

3) When his arm is lifted, his fingers will open and close to signal the "bye-bye" hand sign.

Hopefully, he'll be able to master the "Gong Xi" hand sign by the next Chinese New Year and collect many ang baos!

mY pOor siCk bOy...agAiN

ZaC is down with flu & cough. This time, he also lost his voice. Now, he can only try babble in his hoarse voice. But doc says he doesn't have a sore throat. He has also lost his appetite and wakes up several times in the night as he finds it difficult to breathe with his blocked nose. Good thing is, he's still as active as ever....trying to use any furniture he can find to support himself to stand. He's taking his medicine dutifully and hope he gets well soon!
