While waiting for Daddy, Mummy decided to bring ZaC window-shopping in a toy store. Mummy introduced the different soft toys to ZaC. There was a monkey, duck, crocodile, frog and many care bears on the shelves. The first one ZaC reached for was a small care bear....in Mummy's favourite colour - GREEN! Gasp! When Daddy came along, he put the bear back on the shelve and walked out of the store, carrying ZaC. Immediately, ZaC started crying. Mummy told Daddy it's ZaC's birthday the next day so he should have something for his birthday. We all went back to the store. Daddy and Mummy tried introducing other soft toys for ZaC but he kept reaching for the care bears. He really loves bears! So, he got to take home a GREEN care bear with him that night.

Daddy & Mummy thought his fascination will only last a few minutes but he will look for it when Mummy asks where his bear is. He can also point to its nose and hair when instructed by Mummy.

fiRst iNdEpeNdEnt stEps

For the past 2 weeks, ZaC has been preparing for his first independent steps. While playing, he will unknowingly take a few steps away from the sofa. When he realised he was standing without support, he will quickly sit down. Mummy and 小姑 also help him by getting him to walk to each of us. Then, he didn't have the confidence to walk unaided and will hold onto one person's fingers tightly, only letting go when he had grabbed the other person's hand. Finally, the day comes when he mustered enough courage to walk across the room without any help. Today is a happy day for all of us and ZaC as reached another milestone!

ZaC's fiRst yeAr

Our little baby has grown so much over the past 12 months! From being a tiny helpless crying baby to an active, blabbering toddler. Daddy & Mummy are happy to experience each of ZaC's milestones and welcome new ones too! Daddy & Mummy will be with ZaC, through his journey towards independence.

you have learnt to smile, crawl, sit up, stand, laugh, baby-sign some words, climb down the bed, sofa & stairs, say a few words, imitate actions...

you have Daddy & Mummy wrapped around your little finger & will continue to...
